Location: Auburn, Washington
Website:

I have been making furniture and other wood based stuff for forty years now,
and I still have much to learn. Wood work is mostly a hobby, and when I do sell anything it's on commission.
I joined this site after watching a couple of the Wood Whisperer's videos on Youtube. I would normally be a lurker on an "Open" site, but there is too much knowledge, and more important, too much inspiration to not be involved.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty

Very nice box and a sweet puzzle, too.
Did you make the piece the box is sitting on?
Was that photo near Brookings?
Please check your PMs. Got some questions.

I cheated, I used a replicator. One side was maple with a purplehart veneer in the middle and the other side was purplehart with a maple veneer in the middle. The knight required a scroll saw.
