I was trained by the Air Force back in 1968 -69 to be a biomedical equipment repair technician and spent most of my service time at MacDill AFB. It was a great opportunity for me and steered me to a degree in dentistry. I always loved woodworking and worked toward having a good shop and accumulating tools. What was first basically a way to build the things we needed/wanted and couldn’t afford has become more of a creative outlet and I really enjoy it. This site is a good way to get ideas for projects and display your creative output. Turning has always been something I liked to do and found very enjoyable. The bowls make great gifts that are appreciated by most who receive them.
