After getting home pretty late today I finished putting the last bits of trim on my tv stand and sanded it down to 320. Im planning on taking it to 1000 but I might not. The wood is wenge for the trim and sides and the tops are acacia flooring.
What are your thought for the finish?

Most experts I’ve read indicate that sanding the wood to too high a grit will actually produce a worse finish. The tend to recommend stopping the initial sanding @ anywhere from 150 to 320 grit. The higher grits are used to knock defects out of the finish coat(s) and to polish the finish surface to the desired level of smoothness and sheen.
