...and even if I were to leave it primer red, it would still look better than when I got it! In the end, though (don’t remember if I posted it yet or not), it’ll be fire engine red with black accents. Different from the original, but not too garish.

Haven’t been able to do a thing since this—family and work. You know the story. I’m heading on vacation soon and will return on the 15th. I’ve ordered a set of roll pin punches because I decided to pull the innards apart and paint them, too. They’re perfectly serviceable, but I want them to match…though they’ll never be seen!
Maybe I’ll make some progress and have some updates before September hits. I really want to get this thing running!
I do have an update of sorts—I picked up a 1977 Model 10 Saw (in another blog entry); it had a Unifence and a 52” rail. I also have a like-new 50’s era Jet-Loc fence. After I put the saw back together I’ll see which fence system will work best as I save my pennies for the Incra LS system.
