Well, I missed it again…....Jan. 12 was my 4th anniversary with Lumber Jocks. Another year of sawdust and projects, old friends and new ones, too. I don’t spend a great deal of time on the internet, but hardly a day goes by that I don’t check in to LJ to see what’s going on, and what my friends are up to. I have met some great people through LJ and learned so much from them…..and all the guys and gals who are members. Their inspiration and ideas keep me going.
My goal for the coming year, is to try to actually meet more of them in person. Last summer, Kiefer and his wife stopped by for coffee and conversation…..what a treat! I have visited a few LJ’ers, but need to do more of that…..probably become a pest.
The Minnesota winter keeps me from being as productive, but I manage to make some sawdust in little bursts. On a particularly cold day, I can stand the shop in small doses, punctuated by cups of hot coffee in the kitchen. While the production wanes, a guy gets a lot more thinking and plotting done.
Thanks to all of you for your comments, counsel, and encouragement. I am looking forward to another year of LJ…...maybe I can remember my anniversary next year.
Keep the sawdust flying…...John

Always a pleasure to see your posts, projects, etc. Happy belated anniversary. I agree with everything you’ve said about these pages of LJ’s. It’s an awesome place to hang out. (probably why I don’t get much done….lol)
