Well, one month in from the ankle break…...cast came off yesterday, and the sawbones says things look good. Three weeks of rehab exercises before I can put weight on it.
The garage/shop is calling to me, but with the current weather….-10 overnight and 0 at this time, it would be pretty uncomfortable out there, even with two good wheels.
It was mighty nice to go to bed last night without the big cast weighing me down. So, if I behave myself and do my rehab, I should be walking on it in 3-4 weeks and good to stroll in the sand on Kauai and Maui in five weeks.

Just saw your blog and thought I’d stop. Broken bones are not fun, but remind us to be careful? My cast smelled like fish heads when it finally came off. LOL! God luck and good woodworking!

Well it’s good to hear that you are getting better and got the itch again .
Get back on your feet John and have fun in Hawaii , but when you get back we want to see some action in the shop .
The weather should be warmer by then .
