I have a 30’x40’ dedicated workshop built in 2006 or 2007. The development of the shop stalled shortly after that, as divorce set in. Recently I’ve been fortunate to have time to start tinkering again, and have caught the bug in a bad (good) way.

Over the past few months, I’ve built a chop saw station, a drill press table, router table, auxiliary workbench and a table saw outfeed table. The shop gets more enjoyable to play in every day.

Your feedback is welcome!

Sounds like you have a nice large shop building and we’ll be looking forward to seeing your pictures.

BTW, welcome to Lumberjocks. It’s a great place for all kinds of woodworkers and you’ll love it.

Oh, Lord, that looks cold. You’re right there in Edmund Fitzgerald country, “Where the gales of November come slashing”. You even look cold in your profile picture!

My “Workshop in the Woods” is only about 80 miles East of you in the Hiawatha Forest. It’s great to see another yooper on the forum. Have you been to Bell Forest Products lately?
