In shop class they taught us that the angle of the dangle depends on the heat of the meat. I assume that refers to hide glue.

Very cool table, BTW.

It’s all about the heat, and just a little about the longitude and latitude of the cut..
Hide glue is for specialist, I don’t qualify

Interesting table. Looks good so far.
Are you planning to use thick veneer or possibly a thick base veneer to avoid print through of the plywood joints?
Just a thought. Modern commercial veneer is so thin.
Even furniture benefits from good underwear these days. :-)
