For love or money his name is not coming to me or the name of the show, but it is on PBS every Sat morning and is sponsored by State Farm Insurance, he wears a funny hat and walks to work (a shed) with business men and then crosses a creek etc. He does everything the old way. I think the show with the planes was in the 2008-09 season and the Thomas Jefferson piece. It could have been the two episodes about the jointers tool box too.
