« Part 1: Milling lumber for and constructing the laminated top Part 2 of Workbench Build series Part 3: Laminating and installing base to stand it up »

Breadboard ends were made to finish off the ends of the laminated bench top due to the lamination being different species top and bottom. The breadboard end caps were milled to accommodate two lag screws in them. The mortise to accomidate the pattern makers vise as an end vise was milled in the other bread board end cap then the vise was installed.

The vise and top were used upside down to help build the legs. Th process to build the base and install it will be the next blog.
