Building an Aircraft #2: Making the body

So my main body is from a piece of cherry totaling about 2”x2”. Using the template pieces from Part #1 you can trace out your design with a pencil. So first grab your side template and put it on your wood and cut it out making sure that you have a reference point. I use the nose of the aircraft as mine, meaning both the nose and top cutouts need to be flush on the nose of the wood with the end of the cherry. So walk to the bandsaw and carefully cut them out. Next using your template or schematic draw some reference lines that will run the length of your body. This is important to keep your cuts straight.
