I am a 40 something, who has just survived a divorce (almost)

I have worked in technology (sorry) for most of my life and am looking to rebuild my life for myself and the little girl who calls me daddy.

I come from a long line of tradespersons and have looked to hone the magic and mystery that one attains from the craft of one’s own hand.

The difference of those things instant versus those things that come from our creation is that;

Those that hail from the hand, cross generations and speak silently to those of us who are gifted with the listening ear and the heart desire to pass it on…..

Jaarred,
I taught science (everything from high school Physics and Chemistry to 7th grade physical science) for 35 years in the town of Douglas, MA. I grew up and went to school in Springfiled, Ma. Glad to see you joined. What type of woodworking are you interested in. I have retired and trying to get back into making small projects – right now I am working on tea boxes for my family and friends. Bob

Jarred,
Can’t tell you much about Douglas – Most of the administrators left last year. It is a small system – The Technology is wonderful and very much up to date. Except for the fact that I am a mac person and the entire system was converted to IBM, we always had great tech support. I understand that the entire intermediate school staff ( that is where I taught my last few years) have received new laptops. I wish you the best of luck in getting the positions – keep me informed. Bob
