table top idea - 2 replies I have 2 slabs of quarter sawn oak that is approx 26’’ wide that I would like to turn into a table top. stanley no3 restoration find. - 2 replies I have recently began to collect and restore stanley planes. As I was tearing down a type 15 no 3, i began to sand down a washer, i notices tic marks and the no1 embossed on it. It appears as if was once a metal ruler and has been reused.
