Part 1: the dry fit

I was getting ready to start a project for my daughter when I walked into my son’s room seeing what is best described as an explosion of collected boy stuff, models, books and misc stuff that I have no idea why he has kept. So I am building this shelf to help contain the mess and calm the wife. I is 4’ tall 2’ wide and 1’ deep with 2 shelves the last 2’ do not have a shelf so he can keep a tote there. Hopefully that can lead to a box project.

Part 2: the fast and furious

So this project was fast and furious it took two days and is not my most amazing project but I let my 12 year old son do most of the work and it is square and level.
