Here is the final project furniture tacks holding the pad down all stained and ready to go.

The final cushion I haft to thank Rick “lumberjock’s odi wan” I was going to make the cushion smaller than the stool top with would have been not as pleasing to the eye or functional. I also had a second pair of hands before even starting which made the whole process take mere minutes in stead of having to redo it and extending the process.

This was a fun project (as any project is) that was quick and the family loves it so Long live the stool.

Hey Jake:

Look at that stool….!!! Great job, bud…..it looks really nice, and the little one is a cutey…Looks like she’s enjoying it already…..I’m not sure about the “odi wan” thing….there are a lot of LJs on here that’s smarter than I am, but I appreciate the nice compliment….When you’ve been around as long as I have, you pick up a thing or two…..Sometimes you improvise, overcome, adapt….and then sometimes you just have to make due with what you’ve got….....as you get older, you’ll know what I mean…I hope the kiddos enjoy the stool…I know they will…their dad made it for them…..!!!!!!!!!!! Keep them projects coming…you’re doing good. By the way: Why obi wan…..?

Rick your obi wanness is from having knowledge and seeming to have the right tip at the right time. I am trying to decide the next project but assure you there will be more.

Jake,

It appears that your client is extremely pleased with your latest efforts.

Very nicely done, cushion and all. – Len
