Location: Tucson, Arizona
Website: http://www.pinebuckets.com

After a long career in Aerospace engineering and manufacturing, I've retired to work 11 hrs a days in my coopering and blacksmith shop. I've enjoyed woodworking for the past 40 years and especially bucket making (30 years). Family and friends have been receiving buckets of one type or another forever--so now it's your turn. I'll soon have a web site (this is torture!) with a few of my buckets listed. The mesquite buckets are what I'll call my signature piece, and all the revenues collected from these are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. But I make many other types using different woods. I love blacksmithing, and you'll see a lot of metal work in the buckets.
A little later...
I just completed my website! Hard work for those of us who aren't into websites! Visit at http://www.pinebuckets.com
Feel free to LINK to the site. Thx

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Thanks for your comments. This is a great website, hard to believe that I didn’t find it long ago. Yes, the hoops and bail are all hand forged. Coopering and blacksmithing are like bread and butter. jack

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

This is a great site, its good to see you here. I look forward to seeing more of your work. I have a shaving horse that I like to use and have thought about your type of work but have no skills or experience in this area, would like to learn some day.
