Last year I got an encounter with a classical guitar and then I became my own teacher and pupil and because I am not that musical it has been a challenge to learn how to play; and because in the learning process one thing brought me to another and researched about music theory as well as vacuum tube electronics and in between of those extremes, I've learnt the basics about lutherie , tone woods, etc. At this point I feel confident that I've gotten theoretical knowledge to build a guitar and I want to build one. I am not very handy and I am not sure if my rudimentary skills are enough for the challenging task, also, I don't have the tools and jigs or materials, yet. I don't even have a good workbench so, when I first approached lumberjocks last week it was because I want to build a workbench in order to build a guitar on it.
