Well, the polls for the Summer Contests are officially closed now. Results are coming by tomorrow morning, I’m excited to see how it turns out.
Some of the projects on here are unreal. They go well beyond a “woodworking project” to a true work of art, I could easily see some of these pieces landing in a museum. Always makes me want to improve my skills and learn new things.

I am sooooooo Nervous. This is the first time I built something nice enough to enter into a contest. I can’t wait till tomorrow.

Wow…I am excited…I joined LJ;s when hearing about the Thorsen Table contest…didnt get an entry in…then the summer contest I was later by hours and winter…heck…no time last year…but this time I made it…I think we are all winners…
I just hope I get a point…but that doesnt even really matter…I think it is amazing that 58 people joined the “recycled” project contest…and I cant remember on the other…
Does anyone remember how many people entered the Thorsen Table contest a year and a half ago???
I would also love to know how many people voted…and how that compares to past contests…I am thrilled that everyone can participate even when they dont get a chance to get a project in…

I just noticed it said winners will be announced at 6am CDT…thus 3am PST for me…(again just think it would be fun for a point)...

yeah, it’d be interesting to see how we all ranked. there are some pretty awesome projects that were posted there.
