Grandpa Ken, my dad, works at a Lowe’s in Central Illinois, and he gave us a handful of the kids’ projects from the store. I got to have some special one-on-one time with my daughter, Lauren, a couple of weekends ago, so we worked in daddy’s garage shop on a project… Building a “Bug House”.

LET’S GET STARTED!

Ready to build!

Got the handle in the sides pretty easily…

Top & Bottom… CHECK!

Hammering a nail!

All done! (I love daddy’s face shield… better than the goggles!)

Thanks Grandpa Ken!!!

Cheers!
Mark

Beautify the world! Have a dozen more just like her. Then you can take your fun in the shop to the 12th power. Rand

thank you all for the compliments! This one is my special little girl… My son is not yet 3, so this project is still a little beyond him, but he’s destined to be a woodworker too! I’ve got to get some pics of him with his play workbench!

(BTW, my daughter got all her looks from me, ‘cuz my wife still has all of hers !)

Thanks again to all!
