Modular workbench / outfeed table - 4 replies

I have a fairly small area and as most woodworkers know I’ll never have as much room as I want. My idea is to build an outfeed table that can also function for several other tools. My idea is to have it able to put my miter saw on and have the tables edges level with the saw bed and a way to add temporary fences. I also would like to ...

bandsaw problems - 7 replies

I have the Ridgid 14” bandsaw, and I am having some fairly serious issues. The upper wheel is hitting the tracking adjustment mechanism, and is causing it to lose tracking, and is binding the wheel. I have tried shimming the upper wheel out with a washer, but it isn’t working. The adjustment portion is still hitting the edge of ...

Make oak look more like cherry? - 12 replies

I have been commissioned to build a small craft table for someone I work with, and She wants it to have a Cherry finish. Hey folks, I use my bandsaw quite a bit for many different operations, and recently have been having less than desirable results from it. So I did a complete table off re-alignment last night.
