My practice room is not really big enough for a free standing music stand. The wall mounted stands I’ve seen are very functional and not particularly attractive. So it was an opportunity for a project.
This is of solid Bubinga. It was my first bent wood project. It was sealed first with thinned shellac. The finish is multiple layers of a wiped on mixture of boiled linseed oil, an oil based polyurethane and mineral spirits.
