Bonsai stand #6: The finish

I am just brushing on lots of coats of finish on at the moment.

I am using Feast Watson Satinproof and rubbing back with 220 between each coat.

When it gets some more coats into it I am going to try mixing some Tripoli powder into the Satinproof and using a rag to rub in.

Excellent design. Form fits function applies to the base. You do very nice work. I’d really like to see it finished with the pot and tree once done. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Thanks for those kind words ratchet, I will post the finished project with my favorite bansai on it when finished for sure!
