We’ve had this old coat/key rack hanging in our garage collecting dust and whatever else didn’t have a spot. It’s basically falling apart. I also needed a dedicated spot to hang my shop apron. So, while deciding what to do, I noticed the old coat rack and came up with this.

My whole shop is on French cleats and it is the best thing I have done for saving time when organizing my tools. I love the fact that I can move anything anywhere.

I already love it. I’ve used them before to hang a couple of projects, but have only just started installing them in my shop. My plan is to finish that entire corner where I put the hooks completely with french cleats top to bottom. Thanks for the comment!
