I have posted 8 videos on YouTube thus far and have never introduced myself. I enjoy watching other woodworkers introduction and shop tour videos, so I thought I might as well do one and get it over with.
I give a few facts about myself in my home page here on Lumberjocks, but I go into a little more depth in the video.

“Come closer and have a look.”
Love it!
A fine tour, nice diaper storage system, and I loved the former lumber rack. Looks like you are on your way with the Veritas DT saw and vise. A dovetail a day in some of that ‘burning scrap’ for about three weeks and the joint will be yours. Need some decent-ish chisels and a coping saw, oh plus a marking gauge, to complete your dovetailing setup.
I’ve never introduced myself via video either, btw… :-)

I’ve been planning to learn dovetails for some time now, it’s just taken a while to acquire all the tools. I already have some chisels and a marking gauge from when I was learning how to chop mortises. I think I’m ready to go! Just want to attach that vise. I also have a coping saw.
That’s a great idea about using scraps to practice dovetails! Didn’t think about that. Thanks!

Not a video, but decent pics and story of my foray into mitered dovetails…

Another entertaining video my friend.
Your friends have been a big help for your shop. So you must be a good guy to have friends like that!
Enjoy the journey.

gfadvm: yes, the people who gave me the drill press and table saw have been very good to us over the years. This is just one example of their kindness!
Roger: haha, sorry about that!
