3 coats of poly
I finally got these done.
I am not an expert at doing inlay, so if anyone has any tips or comments about my process I would be greatfull for them.
When cutting the plugs. they are sligtly undersize (I’m guessing .020- .030) I tried to “shim” the bushing with some heat shrink tube, but this needed to be repalced every cut or so.
Any one have any ideas on how to increase the size of the bushing, or should I reduce the size of the guide?
I have 2 sets of the inlay guide, so I could increase 1 set, and reduce the other.
These plaques will be giving to the parents tomorrow night to present to thier Scouts
