Here is a little more detail on how I fit the plugs.
When routing the pockets the “corners” come out with a 1/8” radius because of the bit
radius at the corner
The “plugs come out “square” so I trim the pockets
Then I start the fitting process which is mostly sand (bout 2-3 seconds at a time to “sneak up on the fit).
When I get close I’ll scribe the plug and trim the pocket.
I scribed the plug to the pocket
When trimming the pocket, I’ll start at the bottom and “undercut” it a littke and sneak up to the top
after trimming
