So I scrounged a couple a cans a paint some time back, three cans were different shades of white so mixed them
and all is fine. ;)
Two others were cans dry as a brick. :(
The last one had the color dobbed on the top I thought a deep deep red, will probable never find a use for it. :s
Then I built a bird house and not wanting to spend any $$$ on it painted the main body with some left over house paint, then it hit me the red might look cool on the roof.
Opened the can and it was indeed a DEEP shade of red then I mixed it up and this is what came out.

Still need to add some perches but you get the idea.
May let the purple paint settle down and paint it with the red at the top of the can but the purple is growing on me. LOL

and here’s a bird house that I stained.
I hardly ever paint any of my builds.

Cool houses ! I like ‘em!
And I’m sure the birds appreciate them too. Plus they dont care what color it is !

I don’t know about their not being picky.
I’ve seen them look at a bird house then go in and out many time but he couldn’t get the wife to even glance at it. LOL
