With the T2 installed, it was time to do some tweaking to the setup and install some table extensions. I had read in a few other posts about loosening the bolts holding the aluminum faces to the fence to close up the gap between fence and table t...

Started "piddling" with woodworking in mid 80's. In '89 we bought "Our Old House" which was build in 1895. We worked hard on renovating it for about 3-5 years and then kids came along. Since then, most of my "free" time has revolved around them doing scouts, marching band boosters, camping/boating and other family activities. Last year, my daughter (17 yr old at the time) got interested in making an entertainment center for the LCD TV she had bought so we cleaned the shop up some and converted a wardrobe carcass I had started probably 15 yrs ago. Now, she is wanting to make coffee table/end tables for an apartment she'll be in next year at college. My 17 yr old son is also wanting to make a desk for his room. So, I've gone full circle back into woodworking. Through the years I have done some small projects and been able to renovate a little more on the house.
My nickname, "Hotbyte", is the name of our boat, a 2002 Glastron GX205 that we bought new. It is red and the kids said name had to be hot, fire or something similar. I work in information technology so we came up with Hot Byte and use that for all of my forum nicknames. We also are avid campers/RV'ers. Over the years we've progressed from tents, popup camper, fifth wheel and now a 31' Class C motorhome.

Just finished installing my new Delta T2 fence on my Craftsman saw (model 113.298720) that I bought new in ‘87 or ‘88. Yes, I’d suffered that long with the original fence! I used the existing holes in both the rails and table...
