Started out with a hand-me down drill press, router, disc sander and thickness planer and a whole bunch of hand tools from my mom (a wood pattern maker) as she downsized her own shop. First project I took on was making myself a bench, so I bought an old table saw off craigslist and a 6” jointer and joined some 8/4 ash and mounted my mom’s old Emmett pattern maker’s vise. Since then I have added or upgraded tools as needed to tackle each project I take on; upgraded to an 8” jointer, added a dust collection system. I’m thrilled with the performance boost and ease of clean up I get with the cyclone I got for Christmas.
And yes that is a 4 tap homemade kegerator right next to my bench.
