Part 1: day 1 work in progress

This is my build log (blog) for another project. I was taking out some old pine cabinets on a job for a guy, and he said I could keep the boards. I found very good pine shelving boards, already finished and varnished, they were very straight and flat, so I got three of them, to build some reproductive antique projects with them, to sell at an auction. Part 2: day 2 progress

Hi Mike , thankyou. Today I finished gluing up the doors, gave them a good sanding and hung them. I built the doors to have a 1/16” reveal on the top bottom and hinge side, however on the hinge side I didn’t mortise them into the frame or door, so that leaves around 1/4” gap, that needs to be filled in , so I cut some 1/8” thick strips and glued them on the hinge side, to close the gap to make it look more appealing. then worked on a dra...
