I’m building a auxilary fence for my craftsman table saw, the fence that came with it is very acurate, however it is a light aluminum frame, and using the holes provided to bolt on auxilary fence boards for jigs and things, may cause the fence to bend.

So I decided it was time to build a good solid fence, with some hardwood boards,
I already had the woodwork done in building the fence, the video starts out, in my hobby machine shop, where I’m fabricating steel bushings, and making adjustable guides for the fence.

video here:

have fun in the shop

Goodluck with the fence. Built one out of laminated 3/4 ply and used the stock craftsman alignarip rails. It was a Pretty accurate beast. Just a pain to loosen and change positions.
