Location: Texas Hill Country

My wife and I just started a small business making children's toys. I learned woodworking over the years by doing projects around the house. For the longest time, we had poor quality tools and I couldn't get accurate or consistent cuts. Several years ago, we were able to purchase our first "real" tool and that was a Grizzly tablesaw. I still remember the day we brought it home from the SAIA depot. We unloaded it and started it. Put a nickel on it and - no vibrations. That opened the door to a whole new world for me and we've been Grizzly fans ever since.

We've been browsing this website and Sawmill Creek for a couple of years on tool advice and you guys are always right on. Thanks in advance for any advice you give us and we hope we can be of use as well.

Welcome Roy and Pauline. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I’ll be posting my first review in the next week or so. We bit the bullet and ordered the G0453z planer from Grizzly. Can’t tell you how excited we are to finally be able to do this.
