Spalted Ca. Coastal Live Oak Coffee/End Table Top

This Cookie Cut Table Top was taken from the same tree that has produced some of the other Spalted Table Tops,
just from a different section of the tree

This table top has several different characteristics that I thought added to it’s beauty
The fact that it’s spalted and must have been in a fire probably around 100 years ago . also a slight touch of burl in the center of the pith . These pictures were taken during sanding and after my second coat of epoxy

Beautiful job, epoxy finish is the way to go, realy brings out the colors and fills the cracks,
