I am a lifelong woodworker and Michigan resident. My wife and I spend up to 40 hours in the shop in the winter (about 7 months a year here) We also belong to Superiorland Woodturners a group of 40 members. We meet once monthly at our warehouse in Ishpeming.
My woodworking hobby morphed into a sawmill and figured wood business five years ago. We make furniture for our family and about anything our grandchildren ask for. We live in the Michigamme Highlands which is the heart of birdseye country. We saw and process northern hardwoods and specialize in birdseye maple and exotics. My sons are also woodworkers and the business is managed by my son Boone.
I look forward to sharing ideas with other woodworkers.
