My Genuine Redwing boots feel just right when they’re propped up on a Genuine Rivergirl Footstool, especially when it was built for me. :)

When I came in from the shop last night I had my wife, Claire, photograph my boots on rivergirl’s footstool and she was delighted to oblige me. So this is what my boots look like when they’re propped up on the stool. :)
I thought I would post a few pictures of how rivergirl’s box is coming along so I put them below.

Above is a couple of the box sets that go inside of the main box.

Above is a view of the main tool box with some of the boxes and trays.

Above is a second view.
When Kelly removes one upper box she can get to everything else because the other upper box can be slid back and forth uncovering everything below.
When I’m through, Kelly will have lots of boxes and trays in her tool box and different ways to arrange the boxes and trays. Hopefully she will be able to store most of her tools in this box unless of course she decides to put stuff like her hair curling equipment and so forth in it. :)
I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. :)

I really like the way your boots and that footstool match and look so comfortable. That is quite the toolbox
that Rivergirl is going to get, and as long as each of you know that you got the best of the deal, it can not
be beat. Thank you for sharing, and it probably would not take more than a day or two to put a spit shine
on those boots, but considering what you could be doing in the dungeon you call your office, it would be
a waste of time. Enjoy.

The stool looks good Rand. Not too sure about the boots as I don’t know much about footwear fashion ( in fact I don’t know much about anything at all). The tool boxes look fantastic. Great work and generous storage possibilities. Rivergirl is bound to love that.

Patron, in case you’re wondering, I wear my overalls and my boots about 350 days per year since I usually work in my home shop on most weekends. Now, I don’t mean that I wear the same pair of overalls all of that time. :) I do have a number of different pairs. However, I do wear the same boots. I’ve pretty much figured out that it’s best just to get one pair of boots and wear them until the sole starts to come off. For Redwings that usually will happen after 1-1/2 to 2 years. However, it’s no big deal because you just go and get another pair and when you put ‘em on your feet they’re good to go because you just don’t have to break in a pair of Redwings that much. That’s a fact. :)

Charles, after Thanksgiving recover I have been busy making some projects here at the river house so I haven’t been online in a few days. I am very pleased to see you using that stool, however instinct is telling me you only sat down long enough to take that picture! As for the toolbox, as you all can plainly see, I definately got more than I bargained for. And for the record- I had NO IDEA that Charles was going to build such a dynamic tool box. I am stunned beyond belief. Charles- take a break- sit down, put your feet up and take a nap. You are working too hard on that tool box!
