Some time ago I posted a review and a project singing the praises of the MUSCLECHUCK, a wonderful invention which replaces the original router chuck and only requires a half turn of a 4mm Allen key to lock/unlock the bit. Additionally, it gives about an extra half inch of depth of cut. The purpose of this post is so that members who have wives who are at a loss as what to buy them can leave notes around the place saying things like “I’d love to have one of these for my xyz router”!

For Australian/New Zealand members who are not aware that there is now an Australian agent, here is a link:

Hi Harry!

Good to see you back here again!

Where do we find out which one to get for the particular Router we have?

This stuff is a little Pricey isn’t it?
... seems like someone is out to make a BIG Buck…

Joe click on the link and at the top click on “compatability”
As for price, we are talking about a really precision piece of equipment that I’m sure is made on VERY expensive CNC machines, then there is of course the high cost of patents, plus we mustn’t forget the re-sellers markup which keeps him in business. The benefits will be felt well after the cost has been forgotten. Had I been 20 years younger it would have been ME as the Australian agent!
