Castle Rock, CO

Welcome to the handsawgeek shop tour!

Originally, the entire woodworking operation was somehow squeezed into one of the 3 bays in the garage. In reality it was 2/3 of one of the 3 bays in the garage, since it had to share the space with garden tools and a space-hogging refrigerator.

Last fall, I got the green light to set up a ‘temporary’ shop in the unfinished basement.
The noisy, messy machine tools stayed in the garage, while the hand tool operations, scroll saw, and drill press got to be moved to the Basement Annex.

Aaaah, the WARM Basement Annex!

The chop saw is still in the basement as well because I occasionally use it to cut framing pieces for the slow-moving basement finishing project.

So, this is where the ‘geek’ spends most of his woodworking time, churning out all of those wonderful projects!

Don’t forget to visit my equally wonderful blog!
