I am a woodworker in an electric wheelchair. I can stand, but not too long. Oh, by the way I have limited use of my left arm. My friends and neighbors are sometimes my left arm. Most of my projects are made from maple.
I have made my shop very accessible for me. I create most of my projects alone. I have a hydraulic cart to move things to and from my bench. I have many dollies to move projects or tools around.
I manage to overcome any barriers from limitation. My brain still may write checks that my body can't cash, but with persistence and a will to succeed, I will always continue to pursue my craft.
