For Mother’s Day, I took my wife, my daughter and her daughter to see Ovo.

It did inspire me for a future project. More on that at a later time.

It is THE most amazing show I have seen. If it’s coming your way, go see it.

Hi Hairy – Where did you go to see that show? I hear they are fantastic.

The company I work for makes the portable lighting equipment for them, I think they have 4 or 5 troups/companies that travel all around North America putting on shows. I know they have more equipment on order so they may be expanding.

Good to hear you liked the show, the lights must have worked! :-)

It was down next to the Ohio River, in Cincinnati, about 3 miles from home, that was real cool. It was flooded for about 2 weeks, the earlier shows got cancelled.

Speaking of the lights, they had guys up on poles working the lights. Sitting in an easy chair wearing a safety harness.

My wife and I are fans of Cirque de Soleil and we have seen several shows over the years and everyone of them were well worth the price. The most memorable one was New Years Eve where we won a special seating arrangement which was right under the flying trapeze net and the performers when dismounting landed on the net right above us! Very neat experience! We will definitely recommend anyone to go see them and we would go see another if an opportunity arises.
