I am the son of a carpenter so by default I consider myself a long-time 'beginning' woodworker. I have always enjoyed working with wood, but never took the time to pursue it as anything more than a casual hobby.
In the past 4 years I have made a huge commitment to becoming a better woodworker and have been especially inspired by this new world of 'digital woodworking' and social networking. I am glad sites like this exist.
I hope that by participating on sites like this I can learn more about woodworking and someday assist others in my position. Thanks for having me.
By the way, I am a hand plane junkie!
