« Part 1: English Picture Frame - Part 1 Part 2 of English Picture Frame series no next part

I start this video finishing the grooves for the inlay. The inlay is installed, and then I show how I make the final piece of molding. Then it’s on to the finish. I start by “aging” the frame with potassium dichromate, and then follow up with BLO, shellac and wax.

I had a lot of fun making this project! As always, your comments and questions are welcome. Thanks for watching!

Hi Guy:
The picture Frame came out great. I liked how you used several router bits to make your molding.
Great Project

Thanks Bigrock. I like making picture frames. They can be challenging at times, and this was one of them!

Thanks Norm! Shellac and wax is my go to finish unless it’s a table. Easy to apply and you can really control the sheen easily.
