no previous part Part 1 of Dutch Tool Chest Build-a-long series Part 2: I've got some planin' to do »

I have quickly found out that bringing my tools inside when not in use and piling tools under my workbench was for the birds. I am in desperate need of a nice tool chest to store everything safely and securely when not in use. I also have a personal goal of wanting to work through all the scrap wood I have lying around to learn on and make as many things as I can from. This will also help get the shop much better organized as well. I was able to get through a lot of the construction grade SYP during my workbench build and my daughters vanity for Valentine’s day. My thought is between this tool chest and my next build (a new top for our outdoor table that shattered), I should be able to clear out all the pine. Stay tuned for progress.
