I have spent years renovating, fixing, refurbishing, refinishing my house, furniture, and anything else that needed maintaining with cheap tools and a few curse words
I'm now trying to unlearn bad habits and the need for immediate results and focus on learning about tools, wood and wood working - my primary goal is to produce quality furniture using old or discarded wood

A good start indeed. You’ll get out of this site pretty much what you put into it. There are many great ideas and projects to marvel at. I’ve had a lot of fun here and there are plenty of nice folks that will share their knowledge and experience with you.
