My shop before I moved in. It was an old auto shop, notice the lift! I call it the laboratory now. It’s small, but I love it and rent is nice. More later…

the hoist looks like it can be helpful!! No bending over – just lift the project

You bet Debbie, That’s part of the reason I got it. Right now I am living in my shop, so I have it set up for work and rest. I have an office 60”x 60” and a restroom 60’x100”. It has 10’ high ceilings though. It is 18’ deep and 13’ wide. I just wish my Dad could have seen it! (he passed last valentine’s day) Speaking of my Dad; I will be posting some pics of my Dad’s dreamshop that he never got to see finished soon in a blog I will do as a tribute to one of the greatest craftsman to ever walk this earth! His shop is enourmous! Two stories, sixty feet deep and thirty feet wide. It has a mezzanine above the first half of the Garage to store all of his goodies he was gonna build. My uncle is finishing it right now.
Some lucky guy will buy a house with the dream shop of a lifetime when probate ends…

Hi Chuck,

Sorry that I am just now getting around to reviewing your “laboratory” post. But I am glad that I finally did. The space you have to work in is nice. I am sorry about your father but I am sure that he would be proud of your accomplishment. By the way I like your table saw set-up. It is unique.

Thanks for the post.
