Thanks for sharing this. I find the construction fascinating. I do have one question – if the bridge is not going to be seen, why the detail? It looks great, but wasn’t that a lot of work that will probably not be seen all that much – if ever?

-- I've never seen a tree that I wouldn't like to repurpose into a project. I love the smell of wood in the morning - it smells like victory.

WOW!!! Great Build Grosa! Picture turned out Nicely.

Where you able to get it in the Bar in one piece or did you build it in sections and assemble in the Bar?

Rick,
The top half ( suspended from the ceiling) went in as one piece. They had to remove the entire store front so we could get it in. The bottom piece went in as two pieces, I gel coated and buffed it out on site. Couldn’t tell there was a seam there when I finished.

So UHHMMMM? What are you gonna do with that nice little Model now? I got it!! Go to a Hobby Shop, buy a cheap RC boat. take out the Guts, put it in the Model. Then you could go down to the Pond and and have some FUN!!

If that doesn’t work for you send it to me and I’ll make an RC Airplane with it!!
