I have just learned our friend Bob Putman (Grizzman), from Verbena Alabama, passed away this morning. I do not know any details at this time.

Grizzman was greatly loved by his family, friends and community. He was a great friend to many on this forum.

Please keep his wife, Susan, and family in your thoughts and prayers.

We will miss you Grizzman. Rest in peace, my friend.

-The more I work with wood the more I recognize only God can make something as beautiful as a tree. I hope my humble attempts at this craft do justice by His masterpiece. -Tim

thank you for you kind words, i feel blessed to have this talent that allows me to take wood and change its shape some, and have the ability to take these beautiful woods and make things of beauty things people can use and at the same time become inspired to keep it going and learn to do the same…take your art form in yourself its there, and create some beauty from the wood.

Dude you are seriously talented. I am not what I would call a spiritual man but I feel I can relate to the things you have to say about wood. I feel like sometimes I can hear it too. Please keep up the amazing and inspirational work.
