Congratulations on your first 5 years Bob! LJ wouldn’t be the same without your wonderful, unique projects and your warm, friendly and generous nature.

An oddity of the internet is that while you may not truly “meet” someone, you can get to know them. I know you to be a talented woodworker and a kind and generous man. I’m glad to make your acquaintance my friend.

Ditto’s to you. I have learned a lot from you and your talents are exceptional. Thanks for the kind words here and there…as one on the learning edge of the learning curve, I need all I can get. LOL

As I think back over the 5 years you have been a member, I don’t just remember the wonderful woodworking.
I remember the off beat sense of humor that had you in dresses, the feistiness when you defended the honor of other members and the wonderful and funny comments you made.

You are a Renaissance man, Bob. True to yourself and what you believe. And… a pleasure to call a friend.
Many more years to you here.

Ellen

Congratulations Bob. Too bad we don’t have a photo album to go back over. Yours has been an interesting ride, just as Ellen mentioned. You’ve got lots of good friends because you are a good friend. It’s been a pleasure to have you as one of mine

You are a real prince of a human being, Bob. It has been a great personal pleasure for me to see your woodworking skills grow by leaps and bounds over these past five years. But it is your kindness and generosity to others that has been an even bigger inspiration to me. Thank you, sir!

Hi Bob, I made you a buddy about a year ago cause I knew your goodness of nature and skills could teach me a lot. You haven’t failed. Congratulations on being one of our leaders and a true woodworker.

G’day, Bob, Congratulations on your 5 years!
I could not agree with you more about this site. I learn more and get so much encouragement from Lumberjocks and try to get all the woodworkers I know to join up.

This is like a big family with all the brothers I never had ( just sisters). You get to know people pretty well on here but then it is even better to meet them in person. I try to meet a few LJ’s each year. This year it was Grumpymike in Surprise,Az. and Candy Frye in Joplin, Mo.

May God bless you with a whole lot more years on here, man!! I love your work!!

Cheers, Jim
