By Bob “Grizz” PutMAN with a little help from a friend (Jim Bertelson)

Amazing twisted beauty, lies before my eye’s …
It’s the Rolling Thunder, what a grand surprise!
Surely stored up magic, from an ancient Celtic land,
Turned up into rolling wood, by Lew the wizard man.

When such beauty, was soon to be seen,
A wonderful happening, from behind the scenes…
Taking God’s wood, with your shaping and style,
Lew created a gem, that made me smile.
A wonderful gift Lew made for me,
It’s Rolling Thunder, can’t you see?
Rolling, shaping, making the dough,

What will I make, I really don’t know,
Pizza, bread, or cinnamon rolls.

I’ll roll the dice, take what’s due,
Knowing that it will be true.
Many eyes have seen her roll,
Rolling Thunder is how she’s known.

To the master of wood, and my friend,
Remember my thanks will never end.
Rolling Thunder, let’s roll on now,
Lew made me happy, to Lew I bow.

Amazing twisted beauty, lies before my eye’s …
It’s the Rolling Thunder, what a grand surprise!
Surely stored up magic, from an ancient Celtic land,
Turned up into rolling wood, by Lew the wizard man.

Now Grizz tells Jim his story, and Jim, that’s me, does too,
I swear to all you LJ’s, that this story is so true.
So thinking of some pizza, Grizz made the juices flow.
Sherie pulls out the Celtic pin, and off to work we go.

She conjures up a pizza, with some toppings and some bread,
And as the oven gets to heat, I see pizza in my head.

So out comes the pizza, to the table we all go.
We ate it all, with greedy hands, ……and I think I’ll take a doze.

So I just nod off in my chair, with the TV turned down low.
And then I had a terrible dream, I trembled when I rose.
I saw Grizz and me a fighting, in some ancient land.
If we fell into the lava, that would surely be the end.
The pin held there between us, a Celtic sun up in the sky.
Thank God I woke up soon, ‘cause nearly died, ‘tis not a lie.

So I tells my tale in an email, and send it to the Grizz,
But as the mail goes out, Grizz has sent me one of his!
We had the same bad nightmare, at the same bad time.
So inside the Rolling Thunder, there’s magic we can find.
So there’s got to be a moral, in this tale so strange and true,
If you split the pin asunder, a spirit comes for you!
And if you look into its eye, to see what it might do,
You’ll surely come to understand, that the spirit’s name is….

Amazing twisted beauty, lies before my eye’s …
It’s the Rolling Thunder, what a grand surprise!
Surely stored up magic, from an ancient Celtic land,
Turned up into rolling wood, by Lew the wizard man.

Sheries magic at the oven
Is something incredible
To build such a feast
So beautiful and edible

And Jim, you’re amazing
You must be a Druid
To congure up poetry
So true and so fluid

But the star of the show
A wizard complete
Lew produced Celtic magic
Now that’s quite a feat

So for Christmas he’s gonna make you a pizza cutter with a matching Handel?

(Sometimes my puns are a little loose.)

Oh to be a wizard with wood,
Like Lew if only I could,
Or be able to a pizza make,
If only I had learnt to bake,
So I will dream and wonder,
and make my boards down under..

My rather poor attempt at poetry… I will stick to boards..
Jim and Bob… great story… great pics… and
Lew… what a great Rolling Thunder…!!!
