Wooahh….Now I’m concerned at a number of levels…LOL
P.S.
I’m not going anywhere. LJs is a great site, just needs a good cleaning now and then.

I love this picture, reminds me of all the fun we had with that contest. I am just wondering why people are leaving, I haven’t been on for awhile, am I missing something?

I’m not going anywhere either. I’m fully confidant that Martin will get this worked out but it may take some time. Until then we should just report the crap that needs to be removed and otherwise ignore it.

my hat’s in the ring !!
just as a point of interest with the last few days of obvious insanity—there was a post asking about the possibility of adding a function to remove a posted comment—if that is a possibility with the added feature of the removal being forwarded to Martin for review of said post and removal of the offending party—could this work to help in the policing of the site and hoping that personal issues not being the reason for a removal???
just a thought

Grizz, I hate to be a killjoy, but I must state my objection to your using a very dangerous power tool while wearing that boa! Safety rules must be followed. (I’d object to the dress also, but I don’t want to see the alternative).

nailbanger2 you just might be onto something, so here is my disclaimer…to all who view this picture…it is totally unsafe to operate a high powered chain saw as this while wearing a boa and or a loose fitting dress..so remember it is safety first…there…...lol…...now….lets all support martin until this problem with the pictures is fixed…..keep on posting these good wood working pictures and lets keep our good forums going …business as usual…let the good times roll…..

You know I have been following this issue for most of the day and have a comment or two to make. First, if people leave the site because of a bad apple’s posting then we hand the bad guys a victory. I only joined a couple of months ago but have found the site useful and interesting and intend to stay put. Secondly, there is no way to completely remove risk of abuse – as nearly all members appear responsible and committed wood workers lets carry on and let the occasional abuse be dealt with in due course by the site owner.

when they opened a blog / project and had this material thrown in face with out
a chance to say no to it
others can“t take the risk of loosing cosummers or there job if they are connected to theese things

Grizz, you are a complete and total nut job!
That being said, I am with you Grizz, I think Martin has done a great job on this site and I for one have benefited greatly from all of the knowledge, sharing, and caring that goes on here. I am here to stay.

Hey, grizz, I’m staying too, but could you please do me a favor and not post that picture anymore? LOL
