hello my fellow lumber jocks, first i wanted to thank David for his call for help in my behalf, as some of you know i have health problems that have slowed me down and im one not easily persuaded to just not do ..but im tired of bucking this and will just have to rest and enjoy watching the rest of you make wonderful projects…there are so many jocks out there that are having health problems right now…and my heart goes out to each of you..life is this way…we don’t always get what we want..so we learn from our problems and hopefully it makes us a better person…more able to be compassionate for those who are in pain or if there spirits are down…having good health is a blessing sought out after…and if you have it , be grateful…...i want to wish each of you a very happy new year…you all have made my life these past few month a joy..friends are a wonderful blessing..the more we have the better our lives..so please know im grateful for each of you and i hope the best for you all..may the new year bring joy and peace, and may you find it within yourselves to love others regardless of any difference ..love heals all things..hate and envy do nothing but breed the same and nothing is accomplished..so the grizzman is staying in where its warm and going to have to continue to rest my body in hopes i will have even better days to work in my shop and make some wood projects…ill watch from the sidelines for now…and i know there are many who are doing likewise…..i talked with jock mike on the phone yesterday…a wonderful guy , who has health issues…my good friend Neil in Colorado continues his battles..and i see that RJ is also having health problems…cabinetmaster has gotten better news, but will still be down for maybe a couple more months..so many out there that need our support..i extend my love and best hopes to you all..and i thank martin again for having the inspiration to develop this wonder site..its brought the best of people together to enjoy and share our talents and given the chance to make new friends…...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!...GRIZZMAN

Grizz,
You are a gem! I am a believer that all things happen for a reason and it is always a good reason. Maybe your down time is to plan new projects for when you are up and running. Also, I will depend on you for comments and recommendations on my projects during this time.
Happy New Year, my friend.
Ellen

Happy New Year Grizz. As a new friend I am saddened at this problem. Mostly saddened your so far from Tulsa as many do who would like to stop by from time to time to help you spirits. We’ll just have to try here. I always have time to talk to a friend so drop me a number and I’ll do the same.

Hey Griz, I could not have said it better my friend. WE know there are times when it is difficult to function and are here for you whatever you need. There are a lot of LJs who are really good souls and understand health circumstances through their own experiences. I hope this little setback will be over soon so I can get back to pulling your leg and giving out friendly insults. I was going to tell you to keep your chin up, but who knows where it is under that great beard?
PM me if you want to “play” anytime.

Amen, Grizz.

You make me smile. You make me laugh. You’ve even made me tear up, a time or two.

I’m looking forward to meeting you in the Really Real World, one day, soon, though … I feel like we’ve been friends for a long, long time.

Get yourself well. Keep yourself warm. Hold onto that great spirit, and cheery thoughts for a wonderful 2010.

Heartfelt grizz and I await the day when you’re feeling better, my prays are with you.

I have come to like and respect a lot of the people here and I enjoy the well meant bantering that goes on and wouldn’t miss it for the world. I love it when it makes me laugh.

Take care of yourself and best wishes.

Here’s wishing you the best. Rest up, take care and whatever you do, don’t get rid of the red dress yet!. I know I’m fairly new here, but was hoping for a dance one day. LOL. We all look forward to hearing from you and helping to keep us straight.
